ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½-Columbia

The ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½â€™s Southwest Research, Extension and Education Center (REEC) is poised to offer more public education and research opportunities with the addition of a state-of-the-art livestock handling facility. A groundbreaking ceremony was held Tuesday in celebration of the joint effort between the College of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources (CAFNR) and MU Extension.

ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½-Kansas City

The 2022 Crescendo event raised more than $650,000 to support Conservatory student scholarships. Approximately 1,000 people attended the gala and performance Friday evening.

Missouri University of Science and Techonology

Dr. Kwame Awuah-Offei, chair of mining and explosives engineering at Missouri S&T, advised a National Academies committee on mining best practices for a report on gold mining in Virginia.

ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½-Saint Louis

UMSL announced that it has tapped retired Vice Admiral Robert Sharp, the former director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, to serve as a research fellow with the UMSL Geospatial Collaborative. In this new role, Sharp will help guide efforts to lead collaborative K-16 workforce and talent development while strengthening and expanding the university’s partnerships.
